Anna Bryan Donkin

Anna grew up in Wales and was educated at St. Davids Ursuline Convent in Brecon. She attended Stratford on Avon Art College before returning to Wales, firstly with her family on the Llyn Peninsula and later, when she married, to Anglesey. She has lived on the island ever since and lives now in Ty Croes. She did little painting until she divorced in 2002 when she took it up again, developing through her own experimentation with acrylics her own individual style. Initially she was inspired by her love of dogs, her painting of which won her much acclaim. More recently she has painted the beautiful sea and landscapes of her beloved Llyn Peninsula and Isle of Anglesey.
